"Traditionally, literature makes much of the beauty of fleeting things and the delight of the bittersweet mixing of pain and pleasure. But no one ever said that heaven was seasonal or fleeting. Heaven is always portrayed as blissfully monotonous, one bright blue day after another forever and ever. Rather like California."

Wow! That didn't take you long!
I usually always have lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, green onions, various herbs to put in homemade salad dressing, etc, in my garden. The trick is, having them ALL AT THE SAME TIME! (You notice, there was no 'and' in that first sentence!) Usually, it's only two or three of those at the same time, but I'm working on it. :)
